Assistant Camp Director: Paid Position. POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED FOR THE 2012 SUMMER.  PLEASE CHECK BACK AGAIN TO APPLY FOR THE SUMMER OF 2013.

ROAR Sport Camps is looking for a current college students or college graduate who loves working with kids, teenagers, students, and parents. The Assistant Camp Director needs to be someone who has the ability and confidence to love and lead counselors for Kingdom Impact through sports. This candidate needs to have the following:

  • Strong spiritual relationship with Christ
  • Comfortable to lead counselors in everyday working environments
  • Passion to pour into camp staff and available to talk to if personal issues arise
  • Ability to talk to and discipline camp staff and counselors
  • Comfortable talking in front of staff, parents, and crowds
  • Available to work at least 6 out of the 8 weeks of camp
  • Weekly meeting with Camp Director
  • Available to come in two weeks before camp to help prepare for summer
  • The ability to think “outside the box” and make fast decisions
  • Check emails daily and handle arising issues

Assistant Camp Director is a job that requires lots of energy, passion for all ages, dealing with situations, and much more. We want to pour into you as much as you pour out. ROAR Sport Camps is looking for someone who has the ability to work well with people, confident computer skills, learning camp payroll, answering the phone and emails, and helping out where needed. The Assistant Camp Admin is someone who is personable and can be genuine to the needs of parents and staff. This position is a full time camp season job that will require work two weeks before the start of camp and be a part of counselor training.
