SKILLS DAY // COACHES SHEET

July 31, 2017

Dear Fall Coaches,

It’s that time of the year again!!!  As you know, Skills Day is right around the corner; next week Monday July 31st (Series A & Premier Groups).  Skills Day is a time when we can evaluate the current level of play for each child.  This will help create a balance in competition among the teams.  Your involvement in this is vital for the success and effectiveness of Skills Day.  We need you!  We will need ALL our coaches there to help evaluate during your specific age group session.  This is mandatory.  This season we have partnered up with Discoveries Soccer Club who will be helping run our skills assessment drills next week.  Having your help is very important because the more eyes we have on our players, the better we can ensure the players get a proper evaluation. This is a great opportunity not only for our kids to get great coaches assessing them but also a great way too for you coaches to learn and interact with these coaches!  If you can only make it to one, that is great.  Please remember… this is not a tryout… it’s a way for all of us to assess player skill sets for all sports so that we can strive to provide parity on all teams such that each team is evenly paired against another.   Again we appreciate your help in EVERYTHING you do to make ROAR an impacting environment!
