GET READY FOR THE SUMMER

ROAR Camp's mission is "to create a fun atmosphere where campers are able to find their worth in Christ while learning and growing in the Gospel". So, come join us this summer to sharpen your camper’s skills during our half day summer camps. Take advantage of learning more about Sports, Life, and Truth! ROAR offers class “A” coaches, Bible Time, trained counselors and staff, and awesome fun in a safe environment. At ROAR’s 6 fun-filled weeks of camp campers from age 4 (by May, 2021) to rising 8th Graders. All campers will learn the fundamentals of each specialty through skill development and drills. Bible time will be included in all of our camps.

Do you have a rising 7th or 8th grader? ROAR has a program for them as well!

Tuition Price

$109 per camper per week before May 1 ($16 late registration fee after May 1)

Locations:

All DROP OFF AND PICK-UP will be located at Westminster Church Gym (1320 India Hook Rd). All campers will be allowed to be dropped off at 8:00 am every morning. If you like to have early drop off at 7:00 am, it will be an extra fee.

Week 6 (August 2-6): Drop off and Pick up will be at Westminster Park (4000 India Hook Road). All activities will take place at the upper campus of the school.

Soccer/Flag Football/Volleyball Camp– Campers will be transported from Westminster Church Gym to WCCS Upper Campus. All campers will be brought back to Westminster Church Gym for lunch and Pick Up at 1:00 pm

Art/Basketball/Drama/Dance/Science Camp– Campers will will stay on Westminster Church property

JR ROAR Camp: JR ROAR will always stay on campus at Westminster Church Gym

Camp Hours

Regular camp hours are 8:00 am-1:00 pm. All Campers will be dropped off and picked up at Westminster Church Gym (1320 India Hook Rd)

Monday Morning Registration

Monday Morning Registration is very important part of camp each week. We ask each parent to park and walk up to the registration table to check in their child, check all child’s information, receive a shirt if it’s their first week, grab colored pick up sheet, and give a high five to your child. All campers will be meet at the door and taken to their awesome counselor for the week!

Drop Off (Tuesday- Friday)

After Monday, all parents can drop their child off at the gym door without even getting out of their car.

Pick Up Process

ROAR’s number one priority is your child’s safety. To ensure that all campers leave with the correct person each day, ROAR will be asking all parents to include a list of names (including you) who is authorized to pick up your child and relationship. Each week on Monday Morning Registration, the authorized parent/guardian who is present, will receive a color pick up sheet that will have the campers name on it. This sheet will go on the dashboard of this person’s car to pick up each day. If the color sheet is not present at pick up, we will not release the child until we have checked the ID of the person picking up.

Early Drop Off

Parents will have an option to drop off their child as early as 7:00 am for an extra fee of $25 per week

Extended Camp

Parents, we'll keep your kids until 3 pm for an additional $40 per week, excluding weeks 2 & 7. (Monday - Thursday only & only 1st-8th graders)

Lunch Meal Plans

Don’t have time to make a lunch? ROAR has you covered. Parents, you can purchase meals for Monday-Thursday for $25 per week. All meals will include: Chips, Lemonade, and their main food.

Mondays– Turkey or Ham Sandwich

Tuesday– Chicken Nuggets (Weeks 1, 3 and 5)  Chicken Sandwich (Weeks 2, 4, & 6)

Wednesday– Turkey or Ham Sandwich

Thursday– Turkey Corn Dogs (Weeks 1, 3 and 5) Hamburgers (Weeks 2, 4, & 6)

Friday -- Pizza

Camp Tuition

Your child’s tuition will cover one t-shirt for the summer (extra shirts can be purchased), Friday Pizza (includes chips and lemonade), equipment, group photo, certificate, Specialty Coach, and FUN!!

Cancellation Policy

  1. Prior to camp, you may cancel any weeks by June 4, 2021 with a $10 non-refundable registration fee.
  2. Beginning June 5th, a cancellation fee of $25 per child will be assessed with any cancellations, provided we have two weeks’ notice before your scheduled camp week begins.
  3. No refunds will be issued two weeks before camp begins


We will accommodate cancellations inside the two week window provided your camper is sick, injured, or there has been a death in the family. We will refund, minus the $25 cancellation fee, for any cancellations of this nature with appropriate documentation (i.e. doctor’s note, obituary or funeral program). Please notify us by noon the Thursday before the scheduled week so another camper may have a chance to attend in your absence.

Camp Counselors

All Camp Counselors go through a 3-day training to ensure the best quality for your child. Counselors will be in gender specific groups (not during specialty time) with a 9:1 ratio (9 campers to 1 counselor)

Wacky Wednesday

Every Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday. We will have a theme for each week and we love to have all kids dress up. The best dressed will be voted in Assembly that day.

  • Week 1 - Character Day (Disney or Super Hero)
  • Week 2 - Hawaiian Day
  • Week 3 - Patriotic Day
  • Week 4 - Pajama Day
  • Week 5 - Christmas in July
  • Week 6 - Crazy Day (Hair, socks, attire, just go crazy)

 

Alpha & Omega Games

Each week at ROAR, Campers will be assigned to either an Alpha Team or Omega Team. Throughout the week, campers will be competing against each other for points. Points can be won by winning a game, showing good sportsmanship, or for good behavior. Points can be lost for being a poor sport or for bad behavior. On Friday during assembly, we will announce our Alpha & Omega camp wide winner! 

Friday Assembly

On Friday, we welcome you and your family to join us at 12:20 pm in the Westminster Hall (1320 India Hook Rd) to see pictures, hear fun songs, and have fun with the campers. You may park in the parking lot where you drop off and pick up your camper each day. Walk around the gym to the courtyard and ROAR Staff will direct you to Westminster Hall. If you would like your child to leave with you at the end of assembly, please also bring your dashboard sheet or a photo ID.

**PLEASE NOTE:  Friday Assembly is not mandatory for parents.  You are more than welcome to stop by for a few minutes and leave if needed!

Registration

Registration will begin at 8:00 am on Wednesday, February 3rd! Registration will last up to a week before the start of each camp to make groups for the following week! Early registration discount ends on May 1st ($16 price increase after May 1st).
